Delete your account, and your progress in it.
RookFlow: Grappling Map, by GhostLabs. You have an account only if you signed in with Apple or Google to back up your progress.
In the app
- Tap the round profile button at the top right of the gym.
- At its foot, tap Delete account, and again to confirm.
- Sign in once more when Apple or Google asks.
The account and what it keeps — your progress and, after 1.15.0, your entries — are deleted at once. This phone’s progress goes back to the start (in 1.14.0 and 1.15.0, its belt goes back to white), and your entries stay on it. Version 1.15.0 or earlier does not know the record of your entries, and leaves it if a later version on another of your phones has written it: write to the address below and we delete it.
Without the app
Write to ghostlabsoftware@gmail.com from the account’s email address, or name that address in the mail (with Apple, the relay address if you hid yours), and say whether you signed in with Apple or Google. We delete the account, and your progress and entries in it, within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account in Firebase Authentication: the user id Apple or Google gave the app, the name and email address that came with it (with Apple, the relay address if you hid yours) and, with Google, the link to your profile picture.
- The record of your progress in Cloud Firestore, in Frankfurt: the XP and the counts each of your phones added, and the level each reached on the ladder; the rooms, pieces and feats you earned, and what else you unlocked, finished or found; the days you trained, and each move’s drill record; how RookFlow HQ and your gym are laid out, and your gym’s name; and when the record last changed. In 1.14.0 and 1.15.0 it holds the XP alone.
- After 1.15.0, the record of your own entries beside it, in Frankfurt too: the chains you keep, and for each when recall asks it next and how many of its questions you got right; the positions you starred; your game plans, with their names; your training log, each session’s day, kind, minutes, rounds, positions, moves, chains and note; when each entry last changed; and the name of each entry you deleted, with when.
With Apple, the app also revokes its Apple sign-in token.
What is kept
Nothing tied to the account.
- Crash reports and usage statistics never carry the account. Crash reports are deleted after 90 days, usage events after 14 months at most.
- A bug report you mailed us is kept no longer than it takes to fix what it reports and to answer you.
- On your phone, your log, your plans and goals, the chains you keep and the positions you starred stay until you uninstall the app, and in your phone’s backup until you delete the backup.
